Pub Night & Silent Auction September 25th

Hello, My name is Brian Kenworthy and I am coordinating our upcoming Pub Night and Silent Auction Fundraiser Saturday, September 25 from 7pm to 11pm at the Crossroads Bar and Grill in Colwood.  Tickets for this years event will be available at our tailgate party, or by contacting me. The tickets are oly $20 per person and include a burger and a beer. Plus every ticket gets put in the draw for some terrific door prizes too!

There are a lot of small jobs that need to be done to make this fundraiser a success and I have listed a few of these below. Please review this list and let me know if you would be willing to help out in any of these areas.  Thank you very much for any assistance you can provide and feel free to call me if you would like to discuss anything related to these jobs or Pub Night.

Bulldogs Tailgate Party Sept 2nd

Join us for a really nice evening & informal get together after practice on Thursday Sept 2nd at 6 pm.  It's chance to meet other parents, see a sports nutrition seminar, talk to the coaches (there are several of them...not just Kevin and Dave!). It's also a great chance for the JV and Varsity players to have some fun too - outside of getting together for practice. There's also talk of some fun activities being planned too...so plan to join us at Glen Lake School for a barbecue and some fun. See you there! RSVP is required and also some potluck items as follows:

Sign up for the Bulldogs RSS feed. RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication"...what does that mean...well it just means it's very easy to do. So if you already have an RSS reader on your computer look for the RSS  sign up "link" just found to the right side column of the website below the User Menu. Click on the link and then follow the easy instructions for how to sign-up for the Bulldogs RSS feed.

If you do not have an RSS Reader you can install a free one on you computer by going to this link: http://www.rssreader.com/download.htm or if you prefer you can Google " Free RSS Readers" and pick one of your own.

The really cool thing is that once you have an RSS reader installed on your computer and  signed up for the Bulldogs RSS feed, you will be automatically notified when there is something new that has been posted on the Bulldogs. That way you don't have to always manually go to the website to check if something new has been posted. THANK YOU! Our Bottle Drive was a HUGE success!

I just wanted to thank everyone who helped with the bottle drive on Saturday August 28th - it was truly a "Record Breaker"  we brought in $3,053 and that's a lot more than any other bottle drive we have held previously. So a huge thank you to everyone who was there on Saturday! Give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done.

We still need parents and players to help with out with some upcoming fundraising events, so if you were not able to be here for the bottle drive check back soon for  new announcements.
